Every number carries its source and the day we checked it.
Write the safari day by day — where they go, what they do, where they sleep. Park fees, concessions, levies, the vehicle and your margin all follow from it. What we hold, we price. What we don’t, we say so — never a silent zero.
Operators don’t think in cost lines. They think Day 3: Serengeti, game drive, sleep Serengeti. So that is what you type, and the arithmetic follows — which is also why the awkward cases answer themselves. Spend the day in Ngorongoro and sleep in Karatu and you are asked for one experience and one bed. We never ask for a “park night”, so we can never charge you for one by accident.
Nothing is guessed
A lodge sitting inside a park does not tell us how its concession is collected — included in the rate, billed by the property, or paid to the authority. It has to be declared. Until it is, the day asks once, on the quotation.
Generated is not trusted
Every component says where it came from: confirmed, generated by a rule, waiting on a tariff, or needing your price. A rule’s guess is labelled as one until someone confirms it applies.
Switched off, never deleted
Take a charge out of a quote and it stays visible with your reason beside it. The rule survives, so the next quotation still raises it.
Ages, not head counts
The authority calls 5–15 a child; a camp may call 12 an adult. Both are held and each is applied where it belongs. Exact ages, never a blended average.
Park fees, as published
24 windows closed · re-verify
We never retype a fee. Each row carries the authority that set it, the tariff it came from, and the window it is valid for. Freshness is not a promise, it is a date — this table compares every row against today, so a closed window shows itself rather than waiting for someone to remember. Tariffs are annual instruments; the work is to re-verify when a window ends, not to re-check what has not moved.
2Authorities captured
318Fee rows, all sourced
24Windows closed
12No window published
What we do not hold, we raise. 23 protected areas are on the library, 22 of them with verified entry fees. 1 tariff rows are held with no figure at all — raised on every day that needs them, never treated as zero. 12 rows carry no validity window because the authority publishes none. That is NCAA, whose schedule prints no effective date at all. An unpublished window is shown as unpublished; it is never invented so that a countdown has something to count. 3 further authorities — TAWA, the WMAs and the Marine Parks Unit — are crossed by ordinary itineraries and captured by nothing.
Say the day → the rules apply → the number defends itself.
01
You write the safari
Day by day. Where they start, what they do, where they sleep. Search a property or type a name we have never seen — neither stops the quote.
02
The area answers
We never ask what TANAPA charges. We ask the protected area which components apply here, today, for these travellers — so a new authority is a new answer, not new code.
03
You settle what is yours
Your vehicle, your crew, your margin, your rates where we hold none. Anything unanswered stays on the quotation as a question, not a zero.
04
It keeps
The quotation is saved whole — every day, every component, every reason. Reopen it when the client changes their mind and alter one thing, rather than starting again.
Conviction band
Know what every fee costs tonight — before you quote a client twenty thousand dollars.
Levies
Applied per component
A levy is not a switch on the total. TDL is one percent of rack — never of a discounted tier — and VAT is a treatment each component carries for itself: taxable added, taxable included, exempt, zero-rated, or not yet confirmed. Five different facts, never averaged into one rate.
TDL — 1%
1% of rack accommodation. Placement differs by card and by year — Nyumbani excluded it in 2026 and included it in 2027. Always read the card, never assume.

VAT — 18%
Applied line by line, never to a grand total. Park fees ARE within the VAT net — the authority states its published figures are exclusive of VAT — and the 18% is already carried inside every stored park figure. The previous claim that park and conservation fees sit outside the VAT net was wrong.

It works underneath whatever you already use
Pricing is a layer, not a destination. Bring your own itinerary and your own rates and SPI still prices the trip — the property lookup makes it faster, never mandatory. Your proposal keeps being written wherever you write proposals today.
